Kansas City has overtaken Buffalo after a 4-0 start, moving from +440 to +400 to win the conference. Meanwhile, the Bills slipped from +350 to +405 after a home loss to the Patriots, leaving them tied with the Ravens just behind Kansas City. History on Their Side: Since Patrick Mahomes became the Chiefs full-time starter in 2018, Kansas City has started 4-0 five times, including this season. Each of the previous four starts ended with at least an AFC Championship Game appearance. The Chiefs reached that round in 2018, won the Super Bowl in 2019 and returned to the Super Bowl in both 2020 and 2024. Can Mahomes turn another unbeaten start into a deep postseason run? Cratering Contenders: The Chargers and Texans are both 0-4, leaving two expected contenders facing a steep climb just to reach the postseason. Only one team in NFL history has made the playoffs after starting 0-4: the 1992 San Diego Chargers, who finished 11-5 and won the AFC West. This year’s Chargers have fallen from +4500 to +7800 to win the AFC, while Houston has dropped from +2000 to +2800. Before either can think about a conference title, they’ll need to find their first win. Rams: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)49ers: +360 (bet $10 to win $46 total)Seahawks: +420 (bet $10 to win $52 total)Bears: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)Vikings: +1025 (bet $10 to win $112.50 total)Cowboys: +1300 (bet $10 to win $140 total)Lions: +1500 (bet $10 to win $160 total)Eagles: +1800 (bet $10 to win $190 total)Panthers: +3200 (bet $10 to win $330 total)Packers: +3500 (bet $10 to win $360 total)Falcons: +3800 (bet $10 to win $390 total)Saints: +4600 (bet $10 to win $470 total)Giants: +7600 (bet $10 to win $770 total)Commanders: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)Buccaneers: +14500 (bet $10 to win $1,460 total)Cardinals: +20000 (bet $10 to win $2,010 total) Here is what to know about this oddsboard: The Favorites: The Rams stand alone atop the NFC oddsboard at +350 after a comeback that could change the course of their season. According to Next Gen Stats, their win probability fell to 3.2% with just over eight minutes left against Philadelphia. But after a goal-line stop while trailing by 10 with 7:26 remaining, Los Angeles scored 14 unanswered points to steal a 24-20 win. It was just the Rams second win over the Eagles in the last 20 years and improved Sean McVay to 2-6 against Philadelphia. Minutes away from a 1-3 start, the Rams instead reached 2-2 — a result that could help get them back on track toward their preseason expectations. History Favors the 49ers: San Francisco is right behind Los Angeles at +360 after starting 4-0. In each of their four previous seasons with a 4-0 start, the 49ers reached at least the NFC Championship Game. They won the Super Bowl in 1984, reached the conference title game in 1990 and made Super Bowl appearances in 2019 and 2023. This year’s team is getting plenty from its veterans, with an NFL-record 11 touchdown catches by players age 30 or older through four games. No team in the league is off to a better start than San Fran. Cratering Contenders: The Packers picked up a win in Week 4, but it did little to restore confidence. Green Bay barely escaped against a Tampa Bay team that fell to 0-4 while starting an undrafted rookie quarterback. The Packers are now 2-2, but their conference title odds have lengthened from +3000 to +3500 after opening the season at +900. Philadelphia also took a hit after letting its lead against the Rams slip away, falling from +920 to +1800 to win the NFC.
